Games for the Gods Video

Museum of Fine Art, Boston

Games for the Gods was an exhibition exploring ancient Greek art and its celebration of the original Olympic Games. To enhance the in-gallery experience, I produced and art directed an educational video designed to bring the collection to life. The piece featured 3D visualizations of temples and athletic grounds as they appeared in antiquity, helping visitors better understand the historical context.

Working closely with the scriptwriter and animator/editor, I oversaw all aspects of the video’s creation, including securing rights to modern-day footage and historical reconstructions, finding and securing footage, animation, and photography, designing the title sequence and maps, and overseeing editing and animation. I also located and secured permission to include a rare recording of reconstructed ancient Greek music to enrich the soundtrack with authentic atmosphere.
